This Ferrari 488 GTB came to d:class for a steering wheel retrim, despite only showing light signs of wear.

Having recently changed hands, the new owner wanted the car to feel completely their own. Starting with the one part you touch every time you drive. A fresh wheel makes all the difference, complemented by the installation of new steering wheel buttons to complete that factory-fresh finish.

We used Ferrari black nappa leather for the wheel, ensuring an OEM finish. We aslo had the correct horn push plate for debossing on file, a common detail often missed on wheel retrims. The thread came from our very own d:class autoshop, where we supply and sell official Ferrari threads.

Once complete, the wheel was refitted with new buttons before the car headed out for a photoshoot, making the most of one of the UK’s rare sunny days.

This Audi R8 Spyder came to d:class for a steering wheel and gear selector retrim. Our customer didn't like the OEM Audi wheel as the perforated leather was not to their taste. After visiting our HQ and exploring options, the decision was made for black Alcantara and OEM red Audi stitching. The OEM wheels have a 'Baseball' stitch style, which our customer also didn't like, so they have opted for the popular 'link' stitch.

This AC Cobra is another full interior retrim completed as part of a vehicle restoration collaboration with Redline Engineering . This is the second project we have recently carried out in partnership with Neil and his team, and the specification for this one is truly something special. The customer requested a tan Connolly leather, and after working closely with both them and Neil from Redline, we settled on Parkside Caramel nappa leather. It was an incredible choice, the super smooth finish and rich colour work perfectly with the Guardsman Blue metallic paint. We then needed a carpet that complemented the leather equally well, so a biscuit-coloured carpet from Boyriven was selected. New dials and gauges were installed, alongside new seat harnesses.
